Post by ckd5150 »

Is there a way to change repository paths across multiple jobs using Powershell?

You can clone jobs and specify new repository for them, using Copy-VBRJob commandlet. Thanks.

[MERGED] : Change Backup repository in Job configuration

Post by cedric.bourgeois »

Hello,

I can't find a solution to change the Backup repository in a existing job configuration.

I've got lot of repository to move and I would like to do this with a script so I need to find the good command to Change the Backup Repository and after Map Backup to have A good job configuration and keep all the Backup chains.

Thanks a lot for your help

Clone job and change target repository in the settings of newly created job. (similar to what you'd in GUI). Thanks.

Without Ent license you can try to create a new job, passing to it the settings from the old job, and set a new repository for it.
