SQL Transaction Jobs

I have a situation where on a monthly basis a production SQL database is taken offline and is replaced with a different database. When this occurs the Veeam hourly SQL transaction log backup begins failing, until the main backup job is ran again. Is it possible to say if SQL transaction log states failed, re-run the main backup job?

This would require some custom scripting which would run a script after the job, catch the error and then perform an active full. This is not possible by default.
