V9 Cmdlet missing

Post by Baptiste »

Hello, i cannot find the cmdlet for new feature ? Are they implemented yet ?

For exemple :
Unlimited scale out backup repository ? if i setup my repository into a SOBR, get-vbrbackuprepository doesn't list it anymore.
GuestOs proxy ?
Compact and defrag ?
Per-VMs repository ?

Hello, have you tried to review our helpcenter?
It already has description of newly created commands. And yes, most of new features should be covered with new cmdlets.

[MERGED] Command for Defragment and compact backup file

Post by mkobes »

Hi,

Can annyone help me with the powershell command to set "Defragment and compact backup file" to an existing backup job?

We recently coppied our existing backup files to a ReFS repository and i would like to compact the files so fast cloning can be used.

Thanks in advance

Hi @mkobes,

To be honest, I cannot find the option to change this setting. I will ask the team if this is possible through PowerShell or not and will get back to you as soon as possible
