VBR Job Schedule
Hi guys,
Does anyone have a script to migrate the current job schedule config only to a new VBR server build. We do not want to restore the traditional config file and all the other config to the new build.
Thanks

Yes, I am interested if there is any script to perform this as well.

Re: VBR Job Schedule
Hello,
Through the API you can export/import jobs, or just even the schedule if jobs are created on the other side already.
Might want to check some object IDs inside the job itself as if entire new VBR, those will be different, like proxy IDs in case the job have forced to use just a few, etc.
Give it a try to take the JSON file of one job, edit if necessary, and do a POST on the other VBR with the correct payload.

Hi @FlatWhite,
What job types are you talking about? The approaches would differ here.
Best regards,
Oleg

Re: VBR Job Schedule
Hi Oleg,
The jobs are the standard backup jobs, so VMs, storage, schedule to be exported and imported. If not these will need to be manually configured on the new server. Obviously the Storage Backup Repository will need to changed as the backups are moving to fresh storage also.

Re: VBR Job Schedule
No export feature available and maybe the API is the only route to accomplish this https://community.veeam.com/discussion- ... p-job-2246

Good luck with the move, give the script from the Community a try and ping us, or there on the Community, if any more questions.
