Post by ortoscale »

i want to have whole backup infra in hosts files, don't want to rely on DNS. each machine, all records needed.
any chance we can get access to /etc/hosts file on proxmox veeam worker?

i guess running dns as container on each proxmox native for infra services will also be ok.

Hi Matjaž,

As you mentioned, running DNS as containers would be a better solution for your case, because access to the /etc/hosts file on the Worker node is not available.

Plus managing hosts file will not be easy anyway, I wonder why you want to avoid DNS usage.
