+1 for KVM support

Some customers migrate their workloads Vmware to KVM. Especially Red Hat.

I think Red Hat, Suse and Ubuntu KVM support solve a lot of problems.

I assume these are very small customers? Because with the current lack of changed block tracking, incremental backups can only be performed by reading an entire source image to look for changed blocks. So, one can fit a typical backup window only if protecting just a handful of small VMs...

We're planning to release a public beta this fall, then we will decide on the release date based on the feedback.

We have production project based on VMs in Openstack + KVM public cloud. Currently 170 VMs managed by Veeam Backup and Replication and Enterprise Manager.
I have started personal video tutorial based on community edition for small customers. But it is also valid for Enterprise. In some nearest video I will show how to restore Windows and Linux KVMs from from scratch if it isn't possible to mount ISO/CDROM device.

+1 for a Veeam Backup for RHV forum section ;)

And +4 for Veeam Backup for RHV, more specifically 4 OLVM customers: one in presales, one in (OLVM) PoC, two actively interested. We're seeing a number of our customers transition from OVM to OLVM. I think most of them are current Veeam customers, so would be extensions of current contracts (albeit smaller extensions due to Oracle licensing). So with what little that I know of OLVM and the 'Veeam Backup for RHV' announcement I'd like to know if you'll start regression testing against OLVM from the start or if it isn't that cut and dried and a (long) way out.

once the product is out, we will find a place for it on the forums. ;-)

You can expect RedHat to be fully supported. For other flavors, the agents will stay as an option (as always)

+1 for KVM support. Scale Computing has some nice offerings for small biz and I'm considering moving away from VMware after being a longtime customer and as a VCP. Scale's native support with Acronis compels me to look at that also, since Veeam's agent-based backup seems silly to me if I want to manage more than 10 VMs.
