Amount of Data Backed Up Daily

Post by nitramd »

Hello Veeam Community.

Current Veeam versions:
Veeam B&R 9.5U1
VeeamONE 9.5.0.3254

Is there a report in VeeamONE that will tell me how much data I'm backing up per day? Currently, the only information I have is from the daily job notification emails.

I've looked at the documentation for the following: "Operations Statistics" for Enterprise Manager, "Backup Job Historical Information", "Latest Backup Job Status", and "Veeam Backup Files Growth" reports; none of these have the data I'm looking for.

I want to get a sense of how much data is getting backed up per day. This information would help me justify the purchase of new equipment, e.g., repositories, deduplication appliances, etc.

Thank you.

Hello,
I would suggest such reports as Backup Billing and Capacity Planning for Backup Repositories.
First is to tell you how much backup data was written on backup repository, second helps with capacity planning based on historical information of free space on the repositories.
Thanks!
