Dashboard widget showing Guest OS Distribution chart

Hi,

I'd like to publish the charts in the "VMs Configuration" report, such as Guest OS Distribution, as a dashboard widget. However, when I create a new widget, click on 'Report based widgets' (I couldn't find it in the widget packs), click on the VMs Configuration report, it says 'This report doesn't have dashboard widgets'. I tried creating a custom report but couldn't get it to work properly as a dashboard widget. How can I do this?

Hi, Matt. You can create a custom infrastructure report, choosing Virtual Machine as an object type and Guest OS as a columns; and, then, use it as a widget source report. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. For anyone else trying, for the widget I chose Series fields: Guest OS, Category fields: blank, Data fields: Count (Guest OS).
