Detailed report of Job Policies
Hi,
Is there a report that will display full detailed information on the backup jobs (either VM of Windows Agent) from Backup & Replication?
Like
machine name
retention 4 days
GFS, 1 month every week
Schedule weekly at 13:00
thanks.

Re: Detailed report of Job Policies
I'd highly recommend taking a look at the revamped (v11a) Workload Protection History report.
You'll have all the data you need in this one granular report.

Re: Detailed report of Job Policies
Hi wishr,
I need to be able to send a complete detail report of the policies of backup applied. And by complete i mean complete, of policies, when is the frequency, do we use GFS and what, what is the retention etc.
so that our teams can validate the backup plans in order to follow the business policy for the auditor and ISO 27001 and 27002.
All backups should be validated by owners of the applications in order to be presented in the auditor. We use to do it in excel, but i thought now with VEEAM ONE, we will have a more easy solution.
i hope it is clear now.

Re: Detailed report of Job Policies
Thanks for the clarification. It makes total sense!
In this case, Workload Protection History (ex-VM and Computer Protection History) is the right choice. You may also supplement it with GFS Backup Files and Job Configuration Dump reports to add more detailed information on GFS and overall job configurations. For the former, we've added a lot of enhancements in V11a including an ability to highlight GFS restore point removal (expiration) dates. You can find more information on these enhancements in the V11a KB article.
Thanks

Re: Detailed report of Job Policies
hi!
Ok updated veeam one and got the Workload Protection History, which at a first glance does not provide any of the information needed.
Is there anything i can do more ? I found it very strange that such a report is missing, is very obvious one.
