Display capacity stored in backup chains

Post by mkaaden »

Hi,

Customer want's to have an Immutability option in their Veeam Infrastructure.
Reconfiguring the Windows Repositories to hardened Linux repository is not an option.
Also investing in a tape library or an appliance with immutability capabilities (like HPE StoreOnce) is also out of the question.
So an Cloud Repository like Azure or Wasabi must do the trick.

How can I determine the size needed for a Cloud Repository using Veeam One Reports ?
Also, if the customer only wants a weekly or monthly copy out to Cloud how can I determine the size needed for that using Veeam One Reports ?

Hello mkaaden,

It seems to me that you are looking for sizing calculators and recommendations. Something like
https://calculator.veeam.com or https://bp.veeam.com/vbr

Veeam ONE can evaluate the current infrastructure and provide some capacity planning for already existing repositories monitoring their usage trends.

Thanks
