Hello,

We have a error 503 when connecting virtual center server

Initializing data collector
Initializing connection
Connecting to "************" with user "************"...
Failed to login to "************" by SOAP, port 443, user "************", proxy srv: port:0 (The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable.)
**************: Data collection completed
Data collection completed for all objects.


Reporting is installed on a Windows 2008 SP2 with SQL2008
Version Veeam Reporter is 4.0.1.268
Licensed

Is this a known issue and what is the sollution?

Hello Antoon,

No, this is not a known issue.

Could you tell me if you're able to connect to this vCenter Server (choose Browse objects managed by vSphere) via hostname through Internet Browser from this VM? Do you have any proxy servers or non-default ports being used by any chance?

Hi Vitaliy,

Yes we can connect the vCenter Servers through Internet Browser.
The account can login with vCenter UI
No there are non proxy servers for this VLan.
port 1239 is not used by another program.

In this case, please open a support ticket with our technical team, as it seems like vCenter Server services are not available through API for some reason.

Case solved.

IE Enhanced Security Configuration = set to Off For Administrators and Off for Users.
