Excel 2003 and 2007

Post by tzandink »

I have on my Win XP system both Office 2003 and Office 2007 installed. When I run a trend report and try to open this in the report viewer, I get the error message: 'Microsoft Excel 2007 not found'. I can start Excel by hand.

Is there some place where I set the path to Excel 2007?

Thanks in advance,

Hello Tako,

Yes, that's right you should modify the registry to set Excel 2007 as the default version. Please look through the link below:

Hope it helps!

I only have Excel 2003, so how do I view the report?

As per our Release notes document only Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 are supported, because some of the reports cannot be viewed with Excel 2003.
