Hi,
Case #04306813
I have installed VONE and i got an error in VeeamOne reporter on the source vcenter. The collection task fail with the following error:
[error]: Failed to find management node 'MYVCENTER'.
[info]: MYVCENTER: Data collection completed
[info]: MYVCENTER: Data collection completed for all objects.
[error]: Collection has failed. Performing rollback to the previous session state...
[info]: Rollback to the previous session state has been completed.
[warning]: Collection task 'MYVCENTER' has finished with Failed.
Does anyone have an idea on what this error means and how to fix it?
Thank you

Re: Failed to find management node
Hi Andreas,
I have already try with the vcenter admin account and also with a domain account that has administrator role in vcenter,
FYI i have tried with vcenter shortname, FQDN and IP and i got the same issue everytime
VeeamONe monitor is working fine
VeeamOne Reporter look to be able to gather all the data but failed when gathering the TAGS informations
DNS foward/reverse resolution has been test and working fine on both side vcenter and VeeamOne servers
here is more logs:

Re: Failed to find management node
To all future readers: the solution was to install PowerCLI and switch data collection engine to using these tools via setting the "TagsCollectingMethod65" registry key to 1 (DWORD).
