Get Veeam backup job running

Post by YvesB22 »

Hello,

I'm new on Veeam One, but I note that when you managed Veeam B&R jobs you only get the following status :
- Success
- Warning
- Failed

I never found anywhere the status "Running" or "Active".

Is there a report/dashboard where I can return the running backup job and backup copy jobs ?

Best regards.

Hi Yves

Welcome to the forum.
Have you checked Veeam One Client?

Hello,

Sure you can get this information by VeeamOne client. But you can't get it by the reports, even in the report named "Latest Job Status" in reports / Backup Jobs.

This I wanted to do is sending a daily email with status of all our backup jobs to another service - just see if all of their VM where well backed up or currently running.

The report "Latest Job Status" exclude the job currently running from its list.

Best regards.

Hi Yves,

Have you tried using a Workload Protection History report? It includes the "Running" status of each workload. And, it perfectly fits the use-case you explained in your latest post.

Latest Job Status shows the latest final status of the job, which is set only when a job gets finished. Technically, running is not a final status, hence it's not used in most of our reports, with just a few exceptions. In the situations when a job is running, this report shows the previous status of the job.

Thanks
