last 5 days success or failaure
Hi,
we have just moved to veeam. we are using B&R with veeam one.
we have moved over from EMC DPA to veeam one and most of the reports are good. the basic report of success and failure is ok out of the box but its very annoying that the email is per backup job. when we used to use DPA it had one useful report which listed all the servers and showed each server and the the 5 days success and failure.
this report was used by the Directors and the heads of the dept to give them visibility over multiple failures.
can this be done using veeam B&R or veeam one? if not is it possible to request this in a future update?
thanks

Hi Phill,
When talking about servers, do you possibly refer to VMs? Have you been able to check Protected VMs report or VM Backup State report?
Thanks!

Re: last 5 days success or failaure
hi, vm backup status looks like its what I need.
one thing I would like to mention though. It would make it a little easier if you could put the dates of the days on all the pages rather than just the first page. we backup over 500 vm's so this list is quite large and to be able to see the date on each page would make it a little easier.
thanks

Phill, do you mean to include date for each column (Mon, Tue, etc)?

You can disable per-job email notifications if you don`t need them and schedule the report to run and be emailed weekly.phillbl wrote:but its very annoying that the email is per backup job. when we used to use DPA it had one useful report which listed all the servers and showed each server and the the 5 days success and failure.

Re: last 5 days success or failaure
hi, what the report does is good but i cant get one that just does the last five days.
current week always starts on the monday, no backups on monday so thats blank. past week only shows monday to sunday so no use either.
if possible would it be possible to get a report that shows the last days and moves on a day each day.
thanks

I see your point Phill,
We will consider your feedback and think what can be done in the next releases.
Thanks!

As a workaround you may want to use Backup Job historical information report with a reporting interval of current month. You will be able to see the data you need, again thanks for the feedback.

Re: last 5 days success or failaure
any chance of this feature creeping into version 9 of veam one. i just need a report for last 5/7 days as an option.
after all the migration work and effort we put in admit that backup are working very well but as usual people at the top are moaning because they cant get the report. Please, Please add this this to the veeam reports!!

Phill, Veeam ONE v9 is already available, so we will be able to discuss this functionality only for our next updates.

Ok! Providing "Last X days" option should be easy to do. Thanks!

Re: last 5 days success or failaure
Hello!
To say the truth the feature was not pushed hard before, so we`ve just added the feature into the road map.
The report is designed for 7 days intervals. Will it be good enough if we add an option to choose not only this week/past week, but past 7 days (starting from today) as well?
Thanks!
