Hello,
I have just installed Reporter 4 on remote sql 2005 server with separate remote 2005 SQL Server Reporting Service on another host.
Went into configuration --> Settings --> SSRS, everything is configured, tests and saves without error.
When i go to create a new reporting job, after selecting SSRS (first radio button) the next page in the wizard has 4 drop downs (Report Pack, Report, Description, Output format). Right now i have both the default base and performance report packs available, but no matter which i choose the Report drop down remains blank. Without being able to select an item, i cannot continue the wizard.
Went back into settings --> SSRS, and repaired both report packs...no change.
Veeam reporter 4 (4.0.0.230) is installed on a Windows 2008 R2 VM .
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Reporter Reports Not Available with SSRS
Hello Dan, actually Reporter 4.0 requires SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services, as per System Requirements. SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services are not supported, and will likely never be (they lack some essential functionality).
Reporter 4.0 does support SQL Server 2005 as a backend server to store the collected VI data, but SQL Reporting Services have to be 2008.

Thanks Gostev, I missed that line in the release notes.
