[Veeam Report without ZIP]

Hello,

I have some reports created by Veeam One in CSV mode and delivered to my report team and integrated to PowerBI using automation.

Since v13, reports are now zipped and it is impacting my Dashboard.

Is this something you can check?

Hello Carlos,
Did you have Microsoft SSRS in v12.x? We found the use of a dedicated SSRS very low, which it was the only way to get CSV before. And as those utilizing SSRS were enterprises where CSV were massive we decided to combine them all as a .zip to get the benefits of compression.

Can you please tell us if you were receiving these .CSV via email, or scheduled to a folder?

Hello,

I was receiving the CSV file via email and from there the automation to PowerBI.

Now the same report came in a zip mode (very bad for us).

In the case Veeam Support - Case # 07947359 - Veeam Report ZIP, you will see print screens.

Hello Carlos,
Thank you very much, let me discuss internally. We are going to add this functionality to our immediate roadmap to give you the option in upcoming Release.

Do you think you can in the meantime adjust the flow to push data to PowerBI to unzip this document, or to create a VONE schedule that saves these reports to a folder, and within this same Veeam ONE schedule attach a simple script that unzips the file for you? That should work nicely.
