Cannot comment on EMC data protection advisor, but if you want to generate Veeam backup related reports, then Veeam ONE reports should be a way to go.

Sure, do you have Veeam ONE installed or you're only using Veeam Backup & Replication? If you have Veeam ONE, then open Veeam ONE Reporter UI, go to the Workspace tab and then select the report you need > Veeam Backup Monitoring

And if you don't have Veeam ONE, you can trial it.
Looks like report you need is Latest Backup Job Status.
