VM level report needed for Tape backups
I need the VM names and the tape barcode in which the backup is written to, in the Veeam Tape Report. The current report only gives the Backup Job name and the Tapes used for that backup job, but it does not show the VM's which are inside the Backup Job. Kindly enable this feature in the report.

Re: VM level report needed for Tape backups
Hi satheeshsu,
If you are talking about 'tape backups' report, try to click a number in the VMs column to drill down to the list of VMs archived to the tape.

Re: VM level report needed for Tape backups
The customer is looking for basic single tabular view tape report with below columns:
- Tape Backup Job Name
- Disk Job names
- VMs
- Restore points
- Tape ID
- Media set
- Media set Date
- Media Pool
- Restore Points
Requirement he has customers that will after 2 years will ask for audit reasons to restore from tape - they will provide date & VM name only - this he needs to recall tapes from 3rd party.

Yes - we have.
They need single pane view with all related information - this was given by the previous solutions and expect the same from us.
They will be saving it as Excell file to their online documentation system.

The information is available in the report (and its drill-down parts).

Re: VM level report needed for Tape backups
Exactly the issue – you need to drill down. The customer search starts with VM, how can you do it if sits on drill down page?
- Media set Date – refers to date when tape out was done
- Disk Job names – refers to the original backup job name that was copied to tape
Thanks for the help

Re: VM level report needed for Tape backups
There is no way to search drill-down reports without opening them as they are generated only when you actually click on them.
We will think on the resolution. If you want to check which VMs have copies
Disk Job names can be different for VMs of the same tape backup job. Backups can also be chosen "From repository" so the customer may be confused.
As for Media set Date, that`s the first request of that kind, the information is not currently available in Veeam ONE. What is the use case for it?
By the way, there is an tape exportation report showing the dates.

Re: VM level report needed for Tape backups
Hi, did you find any way to get this report? I tried with a custom report, but it is limited by predefined values.
