vSphere ESXi Cyber Security settings

Wouldn't a report showing compliance to VMware vSphere best (CS) practices and settings like NTP, Syslog, SSHD etc be handy? In my OT world not many pay for Enterprise+, so using host profile is not possible.

Hello Bent,

This is an interesting idea. However, the first issue is that we are limited by the data provided by VMware API. The second is maintainability and supporting new and depreciating old best practices. Unfortunately, today it is not a priority task for us to support VI monitoring in that direction but it maybe something to consider in the future.
