Need to pull the vmRestorePoint data transferred value
I can see this value on the Backup Enterprise Manager in the reports listed with the object, start time, end time, result, and performance rate... however, I can't seem to find it in the API responses. Can anyone shed any light on this?

The size parameter (which reflects similar values than transferred rate does) is planned to be added in version 9. Thanks.

Thanks for that information. When will version 9 be released?
I probably need to pull that data before the next version though. Can I get it from the database? If so, where would it be?

It's stored inside the db for sure. Direct interactions with the db are not published, so, you'd better open a support ticket for that.
Otherwise, you can put another automation service available in Veeam Backup and Replication to achieve your goal. I'm talking here about Powershell.
Thanks.

I'll take a look at the Powershell option, but what do you mean by "not published"? If I have access to the database, I could just query it right?

I meant that we do not publish way to edit our product database on publicly available sources in order to avoid undesired consequences (when direct interactions result in not working backup server). Thanks.

Ah, that makes sense. After taking a closer look at the database I see why, however we did find the value we needed in there. We'll use it as a temporary hack until version 9 comes out. Thanks for your help.

Re: Need to pull the vmRestorePoint data transferred value
I have the same issue. I'm currently using version 9 and I cannot find the size parameter that you are referring to.v.Eremin wrote:The size parameter (which reflects similar values than transferred rate does) is planned to be added in version 9. Thanks.
I found a "TotalSize" (BackupTaskSession) property that reflects the actual size of the VM processed but not a size property that reflects how big the actual VmRecoveryPoint artifacts for a given Vm actually are.
Has this been implemented yet?

Unfortunatelly, RestorePoint Size property slipped form the release of version 9. It's still on our road map, however. Thanks.

Re: Need to pull the vmRestorePoint data transferred value
Should we expect to see it in version 10? I'm still waiting. I'm able to pull it from the database using the RestorePointId from the vmRestorePoint entity right now, but it's unreliable because the data doesn't seem to be persistent.

It's planned for version 9.5. Nevertheless, as always plans are subject to change. Thanks.
