REST call to restore Oracle DB to another server.

There is ample documentation on how to restore whole VMs. I need to restore an Oracle Database from an application aware DB backup to another database server. The databases and file structure are identical. They have the same SID, Instance name and ID. I cannot figure out how to do this through the API. I called tech support and was essentially told that this wasn't supported and I was on my own.

Correct. The described case is not available in RESTful API, so, kindly, leverage backup or Enterprise Manager server. Thanks.
