Tape infrastructure in API

Does Veeam B&R 11 have the ability to display a pool of tape drives in the API? Is this output available in version 12?

Hello Evgeny,

Tape is not yet included in the REST API (v11 or v12).

Regardless of the API request, I recommend that you update from v11 to our latest release (v12.3), as v11 is no longer supported and all later releases contains fixes for critical security vulnerabilities.

With Veeam Backup & Replication there are three options:
- SMTP Notifications
- Syslog Event forwarding
- PowerShell

And then we have Veeam One which provides some reports and alarms:
- Veeam One Alarms
- Veeam One Reports

Veeam One provides API endpoints to query Tape related data:
- Veeam ONE API
