Case # 05243717
We are trying to retrieve the License information from Pulse.
The general idea is that we don’t have our VSPC as we are selling the Veeam licesnses, and we do want to keep track on each license we sell.

Re: Veeam Pulse API
Hi Joydip,
Could you please clarify which methods are missing in VSPC REST API? I believe the existing endpoints should be enough to cover your request.
Or maybe you just don't use VSPC and need to find the methods in Backup & Replication REST API?
Thanks!

Re: Veeam Pulse API
Talking about Pulse. Pulse is for Rental Licensing.
Selling licensing looks more like end user licensing (SubScription or Perpertual). They are not in Veeam Pulse.
You are not allowed to sell rental Licenses. The backup server with rental licensing must be managed by yourself as a service provider. The rental license can not be given to a customer.
You must use the VSPC, if you are use Rental to provide Services. It's the only console which helps you to get an overview above all your rental deployments. And it's free for you as a service provider.

Re: Veeam Pulse API
I mean, technically the Rental license is "given" to your clients. What Mildur says is that the managed service provider who ultimately owns the license must remain the primary user of Veeam software. So it must be you who is primarily managing the backup system, and not your client. You can still give your client limited access using roles (such as Restore Operator) or otherwise enable them to do certain daily operations themselves, as long as you remain in overall control over the system. For example, if you're not monitoring the backup system, then it's a good indication you're no longer in control.
