[BETA] [HPE] Editing HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Fails with "-" in version number

Post by bent502 »

HPE engineers will put hyphens on the version number of the Morpheus UI. They asked me to let you know.

I have a custom version of Morpheus-ui.war to resolve an issue I was having. version 8.0.12-1.202609011003

When I ran through the wizard in Veeam for the HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Servers, it failed with :
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/vb ... _edit.html

Failed : Failed to update HPE Morpheus VM Essentials: The input string '12-1' was not in a correct format.

After I upgraded to a standard release (8.0.12_2) the version number went back to 8.0.12 and the wizard ran successfully.

See case # 07951578 for logs and more details.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing this information. We will contact the HPE team regarding the possible version format for private fixes and will also create a bug to address the validation issue in the 1.0 release.
