[BETA] [HPE] Worker doesn't stay running when not in use

Post by dcolpitts »

I've been digging through the config settings trying to troubleshoot some issues. I note by default "KeepTurnedOn" is set to false for the Workers. Is there a reason for us to NOT to leave the Worker running at all times (other than the resources it takes on the host)?

That is our standard design for workers on all platforms. It simplifies many internal mechanisms and allows to free resources when they are not needed.

Please note that changing appsettings without a direct guidance from Veeam RnD or support may cause unexpected behavior, we strongly advise against it
