I have protection group configured on VBR to backup physical workstations.
For one workstation client wants to have separate job, that will backup all content to external USB when connected.
this seems impossible to configure because I I can't add USB as local folder.
(i'm trying to add additional job on machine ...)

Re: add another job for specific workstation
Hello Matjaž
An agent can either operate in the "Managed by backup server" or "Managed by agent" job modes.
To be able to backup directly to an external usb drive, you must use "Managed by agent".
Also make sure to choose type server. Only clients protected with a Veeam Agent for server license can use two backup jobs (1x local storage, 1x backup repository).
Can you create the following job (policy) and try again?
Backup Policy 1
- Type: Server
- Mode: Managed by agent
- Computers: the workstation client
- Destination: Local storage
Backup Policy 2
- Type: Server
- Mode: Managed by agent
- Computers: the workstation client
- Destination: Veeam backup repository
Best,
Fabian
