Advertizing VBR server to agents via public name

Let's say I have VBR server backup.infra.local that is managing agents. Is it possible for that server to talk to clients via an alias, like backup.infra.com ? Basically I'd like the VBR server use other name than it's host name.

Hello,
yep, that's just another DNS entry. In the end, the communication is via IP address. As long as they resolve, everything is fine (assuming the rest of the network is properly configured).
