Hello,
we are planning a Windows File Server Cluster based on RDM for one of our customers.
does the Veeam Agent backup work when Microsoft Dedup is in use?
i know that VMware snapshot backup of Microsoft dedup volumes is not a problem as long as the proxy used has at least the same OS build and the dedup role installed
Best Regards

Re: Agent Backup Windows File Server Cluster
Hi Jürgen
Protecting NTFS dedup volumes with Veeam Agent is supported.
To be able to restore such volumes on a VBR server, you need to have a mount server running the same or later OS version of the protected windows machine and Dedup feature must be enabled on the mount server.
Best,
Fabian
