I have a veeam agent managed by a veeam server. The backups are finishing with a warning. Error message is: "Collecting recovery media file details: an invalid name request was made. The name requested cannot be retrieved at this time."

I am actively working with support.
However, I'm also trying to contribute to the community by adding specific error messages, with the plan to follow up the post with a solution. This way, customers can help themselves and it will reduce the load on Veeam suport staff. I'd prefer to find the answer myself on the forum or KB instead of waiting for support to review logs.

Since we can create recovery media on anther agent system with the same OS, we ended up suppressing this warning using the following registry key on the agent:
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Endpoint Backup
Name: DisableRECollection
Type: REG_DWORD
Unit: Boolean
Default Value: 1
Once set, restart the Veeam Agent for Windows service and rerun the job.
We also tried the following without success:
Veeam Agent – Setup ADK/AIK for Recovery Media
https://www.veeam.com/kb2685
and this:
As an initial isolation step, please add in the below registry key on the Agent system in question within the below path:
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Endpoint Backup
Name: ForceUseAdkForRecoveryMedia
Type: REG_DWORD
Unit: Boolean
Default Value: 1
