Backup notebook with agent

Hy.

I have a backup infrastructure on my company network, the backup server has backup repsoitory. I would like to backup a laptop with agent to Veeam backup repository. The laptop sometimes is in the internal conpany network, so there is direct connection to the Veeam server and the backup repository. But sometimes the laptop is not in local network, for example putside the company network (home office, travelling, mobile internet) What happenes when this laptop is not in local network for long time(4-5 day). In this case the backup wont do in the schedule time? How works this backup case?

Hi Adam

Without a connection to the VBR repository the backup job will fail.
To overcome this issue use a VPN connection or enable backup cache.
