Hi,
ID 05261610, Backup & Replication 11.0.1.1261, Windows Server 2019.
I changed a backup job (added 1 exclusion). Now the target directory and all new backup files changed. The target was
Code: Select all
server.mydomain\backupfile.vbk
server.mydomain\backupfile.vbm
Now it is:
Code: Select all
server.mydomain\server.mydomain\backupfile - backupfile.vbk
server.mydomain\server.mydomain\backupfile - backupfile.vbm
How can I change that back?
Thank you!

Hello,
sounds wrong to me, but without logs support will not be able to help.
https://www.veeam.com/kb1832
Note: You are currently in the "free" products queue. So support might not answer depending on their load.
If it's just a lab, I would keep it as it is. Agree, looks ugly, but has no impact on functionality.
Best regards,
Hannes

And as an update: The issue only occurs when using the Windows Agent to backup, neither Hyper-V nor VMWare is affected. I consider it a bug / by design though the ticket was closed by support. If Veeam is still interested to fix that they can contact me.
