Hi,
Had to replace the motherboard on my client PC. Veeam then threw an error and I had to do a rescan of the machine in the inventory on the server. This appeared to work ok but now, when it's come time for the scheduled daily incremental backup, it's seeing the client as an entirely new machine and started a new full backup from scratch in a new folder.
How can I fix this and tell Veeam that the client is in fact the old machine and to continue the incremental backup chain?

Re: Client erroneously seen as new machine
What product are you using to back this machine up? One of our agents, I assume? But which one? Thanks!

Re: Client erroneously seen as new machine
Veeam tracks VMs by BIOS UUID, so I'm afraid it will not possible to continue the incremental chain.
But full backup is important regardless in this case, as it collects hardware-specific recovery media content.
