Creating Agent backup job

Hello,

is there any possibility how to create Agent backup job in VB&R without putting any specific machine inside?

Our problem is, that we are releasing Veeam Agents backup in all of our locations worldwide via VB&R and I need to create specific predefined jobs, so local admins can later move machines inside.

But currently I need to ask them to provide me with 10 test machines at the beginning to be able to create 10 specific jobs.

For me would be much more easy to have possibility to create "empty" jobs and let local admins to decide which machine will be in which job.

Is there any possibility how to be able to achieve this?

Hello Martin.

You can create an Individual Computer Protection group with a fake computer ip address/host name and disable the rescan schedule. Then select this protection group as a source for your backup jobs and let your backup admins modify the source for this job later.
