Failover cluster backup

Hello,

I am also looking into backing up a MS Clustered file server. You mentioned you split up your backup jops into 1 per disk. Do you allow your jobs to overlap or does this not work?
I also see that for an incremental job, the data read equals the data transferred, so this looks like a full backup to me. For this last question I have opened SR 03329440.

I am splitting your post from original thread, since it was related to a specific issue.

You mentioned you split up your backup jops into 1 per disk.

Generally, it's not required (we were discussing the specific issue). You can process all the disks within single backup job.

Do you allow your jobs to overlap or does this not work?

Jobs are going to be executed one after another in case of schedule overlap.
