Feature Request - Agent, delegate merge and healt check to others

Hi Guys

Hope that my request could be useful

While i was reading documentation regarding how the Veeam Agent Health Check is performed

I've started to asking me "is it possible to delagate another component of B&R for Health Check and Full backup file merge?".
Usually these two tasks require a lot of time (for example my laptop completed a full backup file merge in 1:03 and health check is now at 85% in 3:19) and sometimes is highly resource intensive for a laptop-like device.
It could be possible to delegate another B&R component as proxy, Veeam Server and so on (components with a lor of resources by design and cabable to complete these task in less time) to perform a full backup file merge or a backup files health check for these backup files generated by an agent and by relieving its impact on performance?

Which job type are you using?

- Managed by Agent

And is it a Veeam backup repository or another backup location?

I apologize for not seeing your comment earlier. I totally missed it.
For Veeam Agents and Veeam backup repositories, merge process and health check is done on the repository server (or gateway server for deduplication appliances or shared folders).
Our Agent must still be active and connected to the backup server while the health check or merge process is running.

Did you see something different? If the agent does the merge/health check, you should see the agent downloading the size of an entire full backup to the machine where the agent is installed.
