Hi all,
VeeamZIP's are nice and handy when it comes to ad-hoc backups of VM's without affecting any kind of backup chains or jobs.
From what I've seen VeeamZIPs for Agents are not supported / implemented yet.
The use case of having a VeeamZIP for agents would be manual ad-hoc backups of physical machines, which need to get archived based upon this single ad-hoc backup state.
VeeamZIPs can then be processed with File to Tape jobs.
Are there any plans on supporting / implementing VeeamZIP's for Linux/Windows Agent.
A first approach making VeeamZIP's based on protection groups would be awesome for example.
Thanks !

Hi Falko,
there are no short term plans on that, but count your request as noted
Best regards,
Hannes
