Folder Name

Post by stew930 »

When backing up workstations or servers at remote sites I notice the initial folder doesn't have the device name. Is there a setting that I need to change so the backup folder doesn't have the various characters after VeeamAgentUser? Thanks

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

The behavior is correct as explained here

just curious: what is the reason of wanting to change it? Just that it "looks nice" if a human looks into the folders, or any technical reason?

Thanks,
Hannes

Exactly. If a human where to look at the folder it's more user friendly. There is no definition between Workstation Backups, Server Backup(Remote Location), and File Level Backup since they all say VeeamAgentUser......
