Re: How it work for restore physical windows/linux to EC2
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
The restore to EC2 of agents works the same like VMs from Veeam side. See user guide
centOS 6.10 is unsupported by AWS as far as I see. You can try it, but I saw issues with that just a few days ago
Windows 10 usually works. The AWS documentation has the requirements

Hannes

Hi Hannes,
Thanks for your answer. Will the physical server convert to vm format first then convert to ec2 or from physical server convert to ec2?

Re: How it work for restore physical windows/linux to EC2
Hello,
the conversation (import) to EC2 is done on the AWS side (also if it was a VM before). And that's the part, that sometimes creates issues / where customers realize, that something is unsupported.
We upload all necessary data to AWS, and then AWS is doing the conversation.
Best regards,
Hannes
