Hi, all.
I have a SQL 2014 SP3 (physical server) and a Windows 2012 R2 Failover Cluster (physical server) and when I try to backup using Veeam only the C drive is backuped. But SQL Server instance is not detected.
Has anyone had this problem?
If yes, how did you resolve it?
I thank the help of all.
Tks million for every one.

Re: I cannot backup a SQL 2014 SP3 instance on a Windows 2012 R2 Failover Cluster using Veeam
Hi Paulo
Failover Clusters can be backed up with our Veeam Agent. Please see the information we have in our guide and the limitations:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
For the backup job, you must create a Failover Cluster Backup Job:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
If this pages are no help and you don’t face any of the limitation, please open a support case and provide us with the case number.
Thanks
Fabian

Re: I cannot backup a SQL 2014 SP3 instance on a Windows 2012 R2 Failover Cluster using Veeam
Hi @Paulo,
I am using the Veeam Agent for Windows to backup the Windows VM Failover cluster (FCI with shared volume), this is to avoid the cluster failover during the VM snapshot backup commit.
Are you using the shared volume?
