Novice here so please forgive my ignorance.
I would like to import the initial system backup from a remote server running the Windows Agent onto our B & R server. The reason for this poor uplink speed back to the B & R server and a large amount of data.
Each windows agent use different credentials to access B & R and the imported backup it is not visible from 'Restore from File' using those credentials.
Also, when I run a backup from the Windows agent to the B & R server, a full rather than incremental backup is created.
Looking at the backup import on B & R, I can see that the Owner is unset on the imported backup and guessed this could be the reason.
Do you guys have any ideas how to get around this?
Thanks for your help,
Colm

Re: import windows agent backup from file and set owner
Hi Colm.
Are you trying to import backup file made with Veeam Agent for Windows to a local target into Veeam B&R console and then reconfigure backup agent to use Veeam B&R repository (to continue the full backup with incremental restore point). Thanks.

Hi Colm,
Sorry for the delay. Here is the KB article related to agent backup mapping: Mapping an existing Veeam Agent backup chain to a Veeam Backup & Replication repository. Take a look and let us know if the described procedure works for your environments. Thanks!
