Installing B&R Agent on a DC (Admin Rights)

Hi there,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I have tried searching around.

I'm trying to install the B&R Agent on a Domain Controller so I can perform file level backups to my B&R server.

No matter what I try I get the error "Local administrator rights are required to install the product".

Problem is, there is no local admin on a DC. I've tried creating a standard domain user and adding it to the local admins group but still no avail.

Any tips? I cannot work this one out, should be a simple one!

Welcome to the forum.
For domain controller, you must use a global administrator of your active directory.

May I ask why only file level backup?
