Is volume level backup with only C: drive still bootable?
I have a hyperv hypervisor with all the vms backed up with VBR. Since they are all located on drive D, I dont need to backup entire system. Bootable C drive with bare metal hypervisor is sufficient. In Veeam Windows Agent, there is a nice select box like this: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=21. But in VBR managed agent settings is only textbox for drive latter.
I am afraid it wont boot with only C drive typed in. Doeas anybody has any experience with this?
Maybe feature request to add same dialog to VBR?

Hello Jan.
When operating system drive (for example volume C) is included all the system partitions are automatically included too.

Can you confirm that we understand each other and you are refferring to managed agent?
I found similar post here: https://forums.veeam.com/physical-cloud ... 47700.html
After trying file level restore, all I can see is drive C. Am I doing something wrong? Any plans to make gui more like standalone agent?

Jan,
With volume level backup you can add drive C and your system partitions are included automatically to ensure that BMR works. For file level backup you can use system state checkbox (it includes operating system volume and system partitions).

In other words: In standalone agent there is opt out checkbox (show hidden and deselect) for system partitions otherwise they are included by default. In managed agent there is only textbox option to include drive C and system partitions are included by default.
