Move B&R to another server / ip

Hello

I have a B&R Server which backsup 50 physical Servers with Veeam Agent remotely installed (with protection group).
No I want to move B&R to another server which also will have another ip.

Do I just have to backup the config, reinstall B&R on the new server and restore the config?
Will the agents accept that suddenly the managing server of the jobs has a different ip?

Hello, hirratas,

You may follow this KB to mitigate Veeam Backup & Replication. After configuration restore you would need to reapply your agent policies to update settings on the client side.

However, please note, that backup agents are using FQDN to connect with Veeam B&R server, so if your policy is using Veeam B&R IP address instead of a host name you should change it manually, update the policy and apply the policy to all the managed agents. Thanks!
