Moving Log Files

Post by tthomas1@ebsco.com »

Once log files have been moved from C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup to an alternate location (D:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup in my case), how do you then safely move the files from the original to the new location? Do you just move them or is there more to it? The goal of the change is to save a ton of space so I can patch Veeam B&R.

shutdown all veeam services, move the logs to the location using the explorer or some other tooling/scripting.
Start all veeam services (or reboot).
