No USB recovery media for managed agents?
I have successfully created a recovery ISO from the backup of a managed agent.
Now I wanted to create one on a USB stick which can be left inserted as USB boot is not the standard boot, so I can select it remotely in case of emergency but there doesn't seem to be an option to do so.
Have I overlooked something?
Thank you very much for your support!

Hello Thorsten,
Can you please elaborate how you plan to select the bootable media remotely? Some kind of HPE ILO card? Cheers!

Re: No USB recovery media for managed agents?
Yes, my Supermicro server has an IPMI card which lets me access keyboard and thus select any inserted boot media or the BIOS.
Never tried attaching remote USB or such.
If that's not possible now, I'd like to make a feature request.
If so, I probably will solve the problem with some "ISO to USB" formatter...

Thorsten,
For the recovery media you can, indeed, place in to the USB stick, plug it in to the USB port and let it be. When you need to restore access BIOS via ILO, change the boot order and login to the media (you also need to press any key during the RE boot). Cheers!

That's clear but there's no option to create a bootable USB recovery from the inventory of a managed agent, there's only an option to create an ISO or burn a CD/DVD.

Thorsten,
My bad, standalone agent provides this option but Veeam B&R can create only iso. You need to create iso and then make a bootable USB drive via any tool (Rufus is great tool for that). Cheers!
