I'm trying to add a computer to my protection group and if I enter a user other than Administrator (that is built-in Windows) as a credential, I receive the message "Checking Windows credentials Error: Access is denied."
RPC function call failed. Function name: [GetSvcVersion]. Target machine: XXXXX. I will add that this other user also has administrator rights.
Kind regards,

Re: Problem w adding computer to protection group.
If the built-in SID 500 Administrator account works, then it sounds like User Account Control (UAC). You could disable UAC of course, however; that comes with other concerns.
