Hi,
May I ask you all a question? I have a protection group with Active Directory. After a few security restrictions, Veeam started sending me error messages about rescans.
I found out that the problem is that the DC (Domain Controller) can't verify my login, and because of that, I'm experiencing these errors.
But what I need to ask is this: I can't find which ports I need to allow in the network for this to work.
It is obvious that I need port 389 open to the DC, but do I also need to open a specific port from the DC to the Veeam server?
I would be grateful for any information or advice.
Have a nice day

Re: Protection Group - Specify Domain - Ports?
Dear Noparator,
I recommend referring to our documentation: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120.
It provides detailed information on the required ports, specifically port 389 and port 636.
In case you have already opened the documented ports on your firewall and are still experiencing difficulties with the connection, kindly reach out to our customer support team for further investigation.
Best,
Fabian
