Report of success and failed managed agent backups

Post by sandsturm »

Hi
I need a possibility to have a report or something, to see which machines in an agent backup job were successful or were failed. Is there a way to have an option (preferred via powershell) to have such an option? If I get the same result in such a report as I can see, if I rightklick/run a report on the job itself, that would be great, but I couldn't find a powershell cmdlet or similar way to create such a report. I have to export machine name and backup status to our configuration management database everyday.

thx

Hi Sandsturm,

Do you use these Agents as standalone ones or manage everything centrally via Veeam B&R server?

Thanks!

They are managed centrally via VBR

In this case, you can try using one of these reports from Veeam ONE > Veeam Backup Agents.

If you don't have Veeam Availability Suite (no Veeam ONE), then you can try adapting scripts from this topic > Is there any way to get OIBS for Agent Server job

P.S. I will also move your topic to the agent management one in Veeam B&R, as it fits better there.
