Rescan of Manually Added, even when no computers in list

Hi guys,

We recently deleted a computer that was manually added to the Veeam B&R 9.5, but now after deleting it the Veeam B&R still scans for it:

19/11/2020 9:00:10 p.m. :: Job started at 19/11/2020 9:00:09 p.m.
19/11/2020 9:00:10 p.m. :: Performing rescan
19/11/2020 9:00:12 p.m. :: 0 hosts processed
19/11/2020 9:00:12 p.m. :: Job finished at 19/11/2020 9:00:12 p.m.

Is there a way to stop this from checking every day?

Did you try to select "Manually Added" protection group and to disable it?

Just to clarify - the host was removed from manually added protection group, right? Thanks!

Yes, the Windows 7 machine that was running as a file server was removed, and it was removed from the Manually Added group.

I figured it out by reading several Veeam KB articles. I was just about to ask how to stop the daily Scan of Manually Added, but PetrM just answered that, I didn't realise we can right-click on the folder and select Disable.

Thanks for the heads up. By the way we have removed all the 'extra' rescan activity in the latest version, so empty manually added protection group is not being processed at all. Cheers!
